The Manager Customer Projects is responsible for managing 16+ project specialists and achieving annual sales targets of $150 million plus, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with established pricing and operational policies.\n\nIn this role you will:\n\nProvide leadership in the planning, documentation, and ongoing execution of customer projects, as assigned.\nEnsure customer projects are billed out completely, accurately, and timely capturing revenue and margin leakage for successful project close-outs.\nCreate and maintain a consistent approach to project order management and services. Act as a change agent for continuous improvement through enhanced methodologies.\nAssist in defining project order scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals, in collaboration with district management and customer requirements.\nDevelop full-scale project order plans and schedule project order timelines.\nEstimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to achieve project order goals; assume administrative role for onsite or virtual meetings, calls, and webinars between internal and external participants. Manage project spend.\nProvide direction and support to customer project order teams; coach and mentor team members on project order management and general project management techniques.\nEffectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear fashion.\nTrack project deliverables using appropriate tools; monitor and report on progress of projects to key stakeholders.\nProactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans to ensure the achievement of project outputs.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\n\n5+ years of experience: This is a senior-level Project Order management position for an individual with substantial experience in orders management\n5-7years’ experience: Project Order Management preferred\nKnowledge of project order management and strategies\nKnowledge of the Company’s products and service offerings\nKnowledge of SAP\nPlanning, organizational, and time management skills\nTroubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nLeadership skills\nVerbal and written communication and presentation skills\nConflict management skills\nDecision making skills with the ability to take appropriate risks\nAnalytical skills\nAbility to effectively interact and communicate with all levels within the district and external customers\nAbility to manage competing priorities, multitask, resolve conflicts and meet tight deadlines\nAbility to work in a team-based environment\nAbility to manage resources effectively\nAbility to make decisions in a rational, systematic, and logical manner\nAbility to demonstrate a forward-looking, results-oriented perspective in motivating and inspiring others\nAbility to effectively supervise staff and achieve results through others\nAbility to effectively train and instruct in both group settings and one-on-one\nHigh school diploma or GED\nFour-year degree preferred\n\nCompensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
