Manufacturing Scheduler II
Manufacturing Operations Scheduler IIThe Manufacturing Operations Scheduler II is responsible for ensuring alignment between production execution, planning, and system data to enable reliable delivery performance and efficient material flow. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system accuracy, enforcing standard work, and improving operational discipline across planning, production, quality, and supply chain functions. The position ensures that production schedules are executable, system data reflects reality, and operational issues are identified and resolved at source rather than through manual intervention.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to ensure alignment between planning, manufacturing, and material availabilityEnsure production schedules are realistic and executable based on capacity, constraints, and resource availabilityAct as the interface between planning and production to resolve scheduling conflicts and clarify ownership of activitiesMaintain accuracy of SAP data including production orders, lead times, routing, and inventory status to ensure system reliabilityIdentify discrepancies between system data and actual execution, and drive corrective actions to restore system integrityDevelop, document, and enforce standard work for scheduling and execution processes across teamsMonitor and drive performance against key operational metrics including Schedule Attainment, OTIF/LOTIF, Backorder, and inventory availabilityIdentify and escalate constraints impacting delivery performance, including capacity, material shortages, quality delays, and process inefficienciesLead root cause analysis for missed schedules, delays, and execution failures, and implement corrective and preventive actionsCollaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Production, Quality, Customer Care, and Supply Chain teams to ensure coordinated executionSupport new product introductions and changes to production processes by ensuring readiness and alignment across functionsParticipate in daily and weekly operational reviews, providing clear updates on performance, risks, and required actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving process discipline, data integrity, and operational performanceMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operationsExperience working in a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in SAP production planning and execution processesExperience in driving process improvement or standard work implementationUnderstanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, production, quality, distribution)Experience supporting cross-functional operational teamsKey CompetenciesAbility to translate data into actionable insights and decisionsStrong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and system integrityAbility to identify root causes and drive sustainable solutionsAbility to work across functions and influence without direct authorityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSuccess MeasuresImproved schedule adherence and production execution stabilityIncreased accuracy and reliability of SAP data (orders, lead times, inventory status)Reduction in manual workarounds and reactive firefightingImproved OTIF/LOTIF and backorder performanceClear and consistent adherence to standard work across planning and production
