This candidate will assist in determining the updated requirements for standardized documents that govern shipbuilding and write critical requirements into appropriate contractual language for Ship Specifications. The MEO team leverages its corporate knowledge to conceive, design, construct, support and evaluate high-performance maritime systems for a variety of customers. You will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams in an integrated design environment to deliver high quality designs to schedule.\nIn this role, you will:\nResearch, compile, and maintain historical U.S. Navy specifications, standards, policies, and supporting technical documentation.\n\nUpdate, consolidate, and prepare NAVSEA specifications and standards in accordance with NAVSEAINST 4120.24A requirements.\n\nReview technical documentation for completeness, consistency, formatting, and compliance with established NAVSEA standards and procedures.\n\nCoordinate Standards Review Board (SRB) activities, including document routing, stakeholder coordination, comment collection, and resolution tracking.\n\nCollect, organize, maintain, and track technical comments, revisions, approvals, and supporting documentation throughout the document lifecycle.\n\nAssist Technical Warrant Holders (TWHs) in documenting and organizing requirements in a clear, concise, and standardized format for review and approval.\n\nMaintain technical document repositories, databases, and knowledge management systems to ensure accurate and accessible records.\n\nMonitor document status, approval progress, and workflow metrics within automated Navy systems and prepare status updates for management review.\n\nVerify documentation packages are complete and supporting forms are properly prepared prior to submission through the approval process.\n\nCoordinate with TWHs, engineers, program personnel, and stakeholders to facilitate document updates, reviews, approvals, and publication activities.\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\nU.S. Citizenship\n\nAn Active or current DoD Secret security clearance\n\nBachelor’s degree in a related discipline.\n\nOr an associate’s degree and 2 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree,\n\nor a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.\n\nSound oral and written communications skillset. Ability to clearly articulate information and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nAbility to work efficiently with limited supervision after 3 months of training and guidance has been provided.\n\nSound skillset using the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n\nThe ability to travel 10% of the time.\n\nCompany Overview\nSerco Inc.
