Also, employees will be responsible for roll forming parts to print. This role supports fabrication by ensuring smooth, defect-free surfaces that meet customer specifications, company specifications, and safety standards. Other duties as assigned.\nKey Responsibilities\nInspect raw and occasionally machined parts against blueprints, work orders, or technical drawings to ensure correct dimensions and finish requirements.\nOperate manual and automated deburring tools (grinders, sanders, abrasive wheels, tumbler) to remove burrs, chips, and sharp edges.\nUse hand tools and small power tools to smooth surfaces and prepare parts for assembly.\nOperate roll forming systems to form parts to print specifications.\nMeasure parts with calipers, gauges, tape measure, or other inspection tools to verify compliance with quality standards.\nMaintain and clean deburring/roller equipment and area to ensure optimal performance and safety.\nFollow safety protocols, including PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and hazard communication.\nWork efficiently in a fast-paced production environment, meeting shift goals and quality targets.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to read and interpret technical blueprints and work instructions.\nQuality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.\n\nQuantity - Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.\n\nSafety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
