Senior CAD Technician - Revit / Process Mechanical

KJ is seeking a Senior CAD Technician - Revit / Process Mechanical to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting municipal and industrial clients. In this role, you'll apply your modeling and drafting expertise to process and mechanical systems across water, wastewater, recycled water, and utility infrastructure projects, supporting both design and construction documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical drawings and construction plans using Revit and supporting CAD software (AutoCAD)Perform advanced drafting and design tasks for process/mechanical systems under general direction, ensuring alignment with company, client, and industry standardsCoordinate across disciplines on mid- to large-scale, complex projects to support delivery of high-quality construction documents within scope, schedule, and budgetCommunicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and project teams regarding task execution and project progressIdentify design conflicts, propose solutions, and collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve themServe as CAD Lead on mid- to large-sized projects, specifically for mechanical systemsQualifications5+ years of experience producing mechanical drawingsProficiency in Revit is required; AutoCAD experience preferredExperience with FDM (ACC) and/or ProjectWise, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office; MicroStation and OpenPlant a plusUnderstanding of piping fundamentals, including pumps, valves, equipment layouts, and mechanical systemsAbility to read and interpret engineering construction drawingsEffective communicator with a collaborative, proactive approach to teamworkAdaptable to evolving project needs and delivery methodsStrong writing, editing, and research skillsWhy Kennedy Jenks?Kennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their full potential.Hourly pay rate for this position is anticipated to be $40 to $60 and may vary based on education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and geographic location.Benefits summary: Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k, bonus opportunities, tuition reimbursement, professional registration support, a competitive PTO and holiday plan, and other benefits and programs.#LI-Hybrid
