Builds specialized interconnecting cables.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and test computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment\nInstall and configure computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment and associated cabling\nMaintain government and/or vendor-manufactured fiber optic modems, multiplexer, fiber optic/Ethernet cables & telephone systems\nFollow standard operating procedures for the Connectivity Operations Team, including the use of ticketing systems and documentation\nSupport network upgrade projects or initiatives\nSupport end-user connectivity needs\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education for Level I:\nMinimum education and experience level: High school/GED and a minimum of four (4) years of experience. Equivalent education and experience: Associate’s degree and two (2) years of experience.\n+Must be a US CITIZEN.\nMust have one of the following 8570 certifications: A+ CE, NET+ CE, SSCP\nHighly skilled in installing, repairing and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
