Job Description L'industrie Pizzeria is seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is a role responsible for keeping the kitchen, dining areas, and entire store clean and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to working collaboratively in a high-energy, intense environment. Pay is $18–20/hour and will vary based on experience. Responsibilities Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly. Keep all work stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout service. Assist with basic food prep as needed. Keep the bathroom clean and stocked throughout the shift. Clean and close the entire store at the end of the night. Move supplies and equipment, including frequent trips up and down stairs. Follow all food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols. Collaborate with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Take feedback and direction from supervisors and teammates with a positive attitude and a willingness to improve. Requirements Previous experience as a dishwasher, porter, or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to lift heavy loads and move them safely. Ability to go up and down stairs constantly throughout the shift. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Comfortable taking constructive criticism and using it for personal and professional growth. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong work ethic and a commitment to keeping a clean, organized workplace.
