The Material Handler plays a key role in maintaining workflow, supporting drivers, and contributing to overall operational success in a 24/7 distribution environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceive inbound freight and verify shipments for accuracy and condition\nProcess, scan, and sort packages using handheld RF scanners\nOrganize and stage materials for outbound distribution\nSort and handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs\nAssist with loading and unloading trailers as needed (Pallet jack, or by hand)\nCheck in drivers and support them in locating and staging assigned materials\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and team members to ensure smooth operations\nSupport operational needs in a fast-paced, high-volume setting\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand for extended periods\nFrequent bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying\nRegularly lift and move packages up to 50 lbs\nAbility to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures\nQualifications\nPrevious warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred\nExperience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems preferred\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment\nDependable with strong attendance and punctuality\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to pass a background check\nSchedule & Compensation\n\n24/7 operation – schedule to be determined\nEvenings and Overnight shifts ONLY\nWeekend Availability required\nStarting pay: $17.00 per hour\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
