DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for implementing application solutions both in the cloud and on-prem as well as participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the DevOps space.This position assumes design and development activities as well as support for operational teams.Your mission:Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects and development teams for continuous improvementDeveloping interface simulators and designing automated module deployments.Completing code and scripting against APIs, as well as resolving product implementation errorsParticipate in research and development to deliver complex automation solutionsCoordinate the technical integration with the internal IT toolingWork with the project managers using SAFE Agile methodologyYour profile:You are motivated and have passion for new technologiesSolid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutionsEnhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" deliveryAbility to analyse and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues, and develop tools/systems for task automationYou ideally have 3+ years of experience in software development (Ansible, Python, Shell/Bash, Groovy)An experience in a medium to large IT environment is a plusYou are fluent in English (written and spoken). Any other European language is a plusCustomer-oriented with the ability to receive and use constructive criticismEU citizenship is mandatory Your technical skills:Solid experience in designing and implementing complex DevOps solutionsAdvanced knowledge of Ansible, Python, programming languages, Bash, Groovy, sed, awkGood knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab, HC VaultBasic knowledge of SplunkGeneral knowledge of database, middleware, KubernetesGood knowledge of web services developmentExperience working on Linux and Windows based infrastructureExcellent troubleshootingCapability to write clear and structured technical documents
