Actively participate in and support Company safety culture.\r\nMaintain and operate Composites One equipment in a fiscally responsible and compliant manner.\r\nExpected Skills and Qualifications:\r\nMust be at least 25 years of age\r\nA minimum of 3 years related experience in the operation of tractor/trailer equipment\r\nCurrent Class A CDL driver's license with the following endorsements: general knowledge, air brakes, and combination vehicle\r\nKnowledge and understanding of OSHA requirements, safety awareness and hazardous material shipping\r\nAbility to pass all of the DOT driver qualification standards\r\nNo serious traffic violations in the last 3 years, including NEVER being convicted of the following: reckless/careless driving, driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accident, excessive speeding 20 MPH or more over the posted limits\r\nHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent\r\nAdditional Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience with transporting hazardous material\r\nPhysical Requirements as a CDL Driver:\r\nAbility to independently lift up to 75 pounds\r\nAbility to walk and/or sit for the entire length of shift; regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl; may be required to sometimes stand, climb, or balance\r\nAbility to reach, grasp, push and pull with hands and arms\r\nMay be exposed to a wide range of temperatures\r\nThe noise level is moderate to loud\r\nPre-Employment Requirement: Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check. Compensation for this role ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, in accordance with state law.
