Speaking of culture, be sure to check out the CREED section of our careers page: https://www.bundybakingsolutions.com/careers/\nPosition Summary\nTransportation of customer owned baking pans from bakery and return to bakery.\nWork primarily involves the safe operation of a three axle tractor and trailer unit.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:\nInspects truck before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition.\nCoordinates work assignment designations with Plant Manager.\nLoads, unloads, or assists in loading and unloading truck.\nPerforms PM Services on truck relating to oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain tractor-trailer.\nDrives tractor-trailer combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products\nManeuvers truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from loading crew as\nDrives truck to weigh station before and after loading as needed.\nMaintains driver log according to F.C.C. regulations.\nProper completion of DOT approved Log Books.\nKnowledge and Skills\nKnowledge of laws, legal codes, and government regulations regarding CDL license.\nInspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.\nPerforming day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.\nMust be CDL certified\nThe ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.\nThe ability to choose quickly between movements in response to movements in response to two or more different signals (lights, sounds, pictures). It includes the speed with which the correct response is started with the hand, foot, or other body part.\nThe ability to judge which of several objects is closer or farther away from you, or to judge the distance between you and an object.\nMust be able to push and pull dollies or pallets loaded with pans using appropriate equipment.\nUsing hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.\nPerform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.\nProvide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.\nMust be able to operate a Forklift, Pallet Jack, Cart Caddy, Strapping and E-Track Functions\nThis job requires steel-toes work boots, double palm leather work gloves, and back support.\nThe training requirements for this job include Compressed Gas, Emergency Action Plan,\nEmergency response & Training Program, Emergency Spill, Eye Protection, Fire Prevention,\nForklift Safety Program, Hazard Communication Program, Lockout Tagout Program, Machine\nGuarding, Respiratory Program, and Slips and Falls.\nThe hours and schedule for this job are flexible and are dependent upon customer needs.
