Our services include water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, trauma and hoarding cleanup, specialty cleaning, and emergency board-up services.If you are passionate about leading people, improving systems, driving accountability, and making an impact during emergencies, we want to hear from you.Position OverviewThe Emergency Services Division Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for our water mitigation, mold remediation, board-up, and emergency response services. This role leads Project Managers, technicians, laborers, and subcontractors while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and with exceptional customer service.This is a leadership role that combines field operations, team management, scheduling, customer communication, training, compliance, and performance management.What You'll DoOperations & Team LeadershipLead and manage emergency service operations across water, mold, and board-up divisionsSupport and oversee Project Managers, technicians, laborers, and subcontractorsCoordinate staffing, scheduling, equipment, and subcontractor needsMaintain production capacity while improving efficiency and profitabilityConduct regular job audits for documentation accuracy and billing readinessEnsure crews are following SOPs, safety protocols, and company standardsParticipate in on-call scheduling and emergency response coordinationPerformance & Financial ManagementMonitor division KPIs including revenue, labor efficiency, gross profit %, cycle times, and job completion ratesReview job costing, payroll, labor utilization, and production reportingIdentify and remove operational bottlenecksAssist with budgeting, inventory management, and equipment planningHelp maintain profitability while delivering high-quality serviceCustomer Experience & CommunicationEnsure exceptional customer communication and service throughout the project lifecycleConduct inspections and communicate with homeowners, adjusters, and commercial clients as neededResolve escalated customer concerns professionally and efficientlyMaintain accurate and timely documentation in company systemsTraining & DevelopmentCoach and develop Project Managers and field staffLead technical and safety training meetingsSupport certification tracking and ongoing professional developmentHelp create and improve operational processes and SOPsWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications4–5 years of experience in restoration, mitigation, emergency services, or related field ORAssociate degree in a business-related field with 3+ years of restoration industry experiencePrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong understanding of water mitigation, mold remediation, and emergency response operationsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to lead teams in high-pressure situationsComfortable using technology and operational software systemsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordPreferred QualificationsIICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.)Experience with Xactimate, Dashboards/BI reporting, or restoration management softwareExperience managing crews, equipment, scheduling, and job profitabilityStrong problem-solving and coaching abilitiesSystems & Technology UsedDashMitigateDocusketchQuickBooks TimeMicrosoft 365Dashboards/BI Reporting ToolsAI-assisted operational toolsWhy Join Rainbow Restoration of Chesapeake?Locally owned and community-focused companyLeadership team that values growth, accountability, and innovationOpportunity to help shape and grow a rapidly expanding operationMeaningful work helping families and businesses recover from disastersSupportive team culture with advancement opportunitiesCompany vehicle opportunities available for qualified candidatesTraining and certification supportScheduleFull-timeOn-call rotation participation requiredSome after-hours emergency response responsibilitiesWork EnvironmentThis position includes office, warehouse, and field/job-site responsibilities.
