This role focuses on rack-level deployment, cabling, switch configuration support, and troubleshooting connectivity for GPU clusters and storage systems.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRack & stack network switches (10G/25G/100G/200G/400G Ethernet)\nInstall and label fiber (QSFP, OSFP, DAC/AOC)\nConfigure switch ports (VLAN, trunk, access mode)\nSupport spine-leaf network deployments\nTroubleshoot Layer 1–Layer 3 connectivity issues\nPerform link validation (iperf, ping, basic throughput testing)\nSupport MLAG / LACP configuration under guidance\nReplace failed optics, cables, or line cards\nMonitor network health dashboards\nDocument lab topology and port mappings\nSupport GPU server connectivity and NIC validation\nQualifications:\nRequired Skills (Basic-Intermediate):\n2–4 years hands-on data center networking and network operations experience\nStrong understanding of:\nTCP/IP\nVLANs\nSubnetting\nBasic routing concepts\nExperience with Cisco / Arista / similar switches\nComfortable working in lab / high-density rack environments\nBasic Linux CLI familiarity\nBasic VPN understanding is a plus\nExposure to high-speed Ethernet (100G+) is a plus\nBasic understanding of network topologies is a plus\nBasic understanding of firewall & security is a plus\nBasic understanding of GPU clusters is a plus\nCCNA or similar network/security certification is a plus\nEducation: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field.\nStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.\nStrong project management skills.\nSalary Range\n$86,000 - $100,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
