You’ll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day.\nSpecific benefits include:\nCompetitive pay.\nRecognition and Reward Programs.\nTraining and Career Development.\nOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan.\nUniform and equipment provided.\nAdditional benefits vary depending on position.\nResponsibilities:\nSecurity Officer will provide safety and security at posts, to include:\nGreeting guests as they enter the Bank\nobserving, documenting, and reporting\nenforcing laws and policies as directed.\nproviding customer service,\nobserving and reporting on operability of vertical conveyances\nintervening to terminate action potentially injurious to persons or property,\nability to recognize and appropriately respond to persons in crisis,\nresponding to sick or injured persons,\nresponding to safety hazards, equipment malfunctions such as with escalators, liquid spills, and other maintenance related issues,\nresponding to events that may require partial or full evacuations,\nobserving, documenting, and reporting,\nmonitoring video and alarms,\nenforcing laws and policies as directed, and\ncollaborating with other security officers, law enforcement and emergency services.\nWork well with Bank Personnel and customers\nSecurity personnel are to be certified and trained and will be assigned a variety of standing, sitting and walking posts.\nQualifications:\n1.US Person as defined by 22 USC § 6010.\n2.Twenty-one years of age.\n3.High School graduate or equivalent.\n4.No criminal history that renders the security officer unsuitable for the position, taking into account the nature and gravity of the offense or conduct, the time that has passed since the offense, conduct or completion of a sentence, the nature of the job duties and any other relevant factors. Contractor will check criminal backgrounds annually and motor vehicle records every six months.\n5. A permanent (not temporary) individual State Guard License.\n6. Ability to write detailed, accurate reports in English.\n7. Ability to read, understand and apply printed rules; detailed orders; instructions and training materials in English.\n8. Have the ability to recognize situations/individuals who may pose a threat to the public.\n9. Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.\n10. Ability to handle situations/individuals under stressful conditions.\n11. Ability to follow directions, without hesitation, under stressful conditions.\n12. Ability to handle verbally disruptive and verbally abusive people in a professional manner.\n13. For persons with military service, such persons shall not have a discharge that renders the security officer unsuitable for the position\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable.\nSpeak, read, and write English.\nAll assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.\nMust hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.\nVeterans\nInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
