Shipping Associate

The Schwebel Baking Company is looking to immediately fill a full-time Shipper position. This position will work 7pm to 3am at $20.84/hr.Duties and Responsibilities:Checks product to be shipped against orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correctReceives and unloads incoming product and compares information accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customersSorts, counts, insures, unpacks, and/or logs product which is shipped or receivedInspects product shipments for damages; records discrepancies or damages and notifies manager and/or supervisorPrepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving recordsMay operate dolly, and/or pallet jack in loading and unloading products and equipmentFollows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety and environmentalPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, such as sanitation dutiesMinimum Job Requirements:High school diploma or GEDAbility to maintain quality and safety standardsAbility to understand and follow safety proceduresAbility to receive, track, and distribute productAbility to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbersAbility to lift and manipulate heavy objectsAbility to perform basic mathAbility to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnelKnowledge of commercial shipping methods and procedures a plus**Please note that this job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; individuals may perform other duties as assigned or required.**Additional RequirementsSchwebel’s will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
