This role supports key OSW leadership initiatives, including the BOND Program, while improving operational efficiency and providing subject matter expertise across the Department of War (DoW).\n\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities:\n\nSupport onboarding and integration activities for DoW personnel, ensuring required steps and documentation are completed accurately and on time.\nProvide administrative support to office leadership, including scheduling, calendar management, meeting coordination, and routine correspondence.\nSupport office operations through document preparation, data entry, records management, and review of materials for accuracy and compliance.\nCoordinate personnel actions, including security paperwork, CAC and NIPR account requests, onboarding and offboarding checklists, ethics documentation, and related administrative requirements.\nAssist with travel coordination in the Defense Travel System (DTS), including monitoring changes and preparing required information.\nSupport daily office operations, including supply requests, IT ticket submissions, equipment tracking, mail and package handling, and SharePoint updates.\nMaintain records in accordance with established DoW and federal policies and procedures.\nCommunicate professionally with internal staff and external stakeholders through written correspondence, email, and in-person engagement.\nSupport special projects and other mission-related activities as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nActive Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.\nMaster's degree and 6+ years of professional experience; or a bachelor's degree and 11+ years of professional experience; or 16+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.\nExperience developing professional and analytic deliverables and providing insights in support of technical, managerial, procedural, and project-related activities.\nExperience supporting the onboarding and offboarding of civilian, senior civilian, and military personnel, including CAC and NIPR account requests and routing security clearance and ethics documentation.\nPrior experience with correspondence management, task assignment and tracking, or Executive Secretariat-like functions within the U.S. Government.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nTS/SCI clearance.\nProfessional experience supporting the OSW or DoW.\nExperience supporting senior-level government officials and knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSW and its Components.\nExceptional oral and written communication skills.\nAbility to provide concierge-level support while managing competing priorities and urgent requirements.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to objectively assess requirements and improve processes to maximize operational efficiency.\nAbility to work independently or as part of a team, develop solutions to customer needs, and resolve problems quickly in an occasionally ambiguous environment.\n\nIn compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with ANSER, please call 703-416-2000 or e-mail Recruiting@anser.org\n\nANSER is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
