Helpful is now scaling to create and commercialize sustainability solutions across industries. The timing is right for Helpful as COVID unearthed many problems requiring quick crisis management. The need for a broad innovation community & quick mobilization to solve issues became starkly apparent. Especially in times when “societal good\" and Environmental, Social, and Governance(ESG) investment is becoming a substantial driving force for organizationsWe believe Helpful is well-positioned to become a non-aligned, large at-scale global sustainability innovation hub that drives efficiency and reduces market systemic risk through size and vertical integration. The RolePOSITION SUMMARYThis is a NON-PAYING volunteer position with a Nonprofit.Come be a part of a team that is developing a volunteer platform to help the Helpful community. This platform will serve as the foundation for new volunteer registration, project registration, linking volunteers with projects, and giving self-service access to data and tooling. Preliminary user research and prototypes have been done, and the team is now ready to begin developing frontend freshly designed pages to improve UX.We are searching for a knowledgeable frontend developer that can contribute to the maintenance of a solid react ecosystem, design performant pixel-perfect UI components using Material/Amplify components, understand how GraphQL works, and be able to connect presentational components to logical ones. TypeScript will form a basis for everything.Requirements:Software development and frontend web development.
