The Receiving and Inspection Associate is responsible for unloading incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and inspecting products for damage or discrepancies. Daily tasks include checking packing lists and purchase orders, labeling and organizing items in the receiving area, and preparing products for storage or further distribution. The role involves operating basic material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, keeping work areas clean and safe, and reporting any issues with shipments or inventory to supervisors. The associate collaborates with other team members and departments to ensure that received goods are processed accurately and on time.Qualifications Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and documenting incoming goods (Shipping & Receiving).Ability to safely unload trucks and handle freight, including lifting, moving, and staging products (Unloading).Experience using basic warehouse equipment such as manual or electric pallet jacks, with attention to safety and proper handling (Pallet Jack).Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with team members, drivers, and supervisors (Interpersonal Skills, Communication).Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate to heavy items for extended periods in a warehouse environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy when matching products to packing slips and purchase orders.Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.Prior warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and follow training is essential.
