The candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with AEHF satellite subsystems.\n\nAdditionally, In this role the candidate will collaborate closely with fellow engineers throughout both the design‑update, production and test phases. The position offers substantial career‑growth potential and provides meaningful, challenging assignments that will stretch and refine the candidate’s technical expertise\n\nThe information below includes the standard job description for this position\n\nResearches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related degree from an accredited college/university\n2+ years of professional experience in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering role\nPrior experience with digital/analog electronics (such as design, circuit analysis, etc.)\nExperience with test and measurement equipment (e.g., Digital Voltmeter, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Function Generators)\nExperience in troubleshooting hardware and software failures\nExperience interpreting and creating electronic schematics\nExperience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design\nExperience in every stage of the hardware lifecycle: concept, requirements, design, development, integration, and testing.\nStrong understanding of analog components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs, BJTs, diodes, and inductors)\nKnowledge of test consoles, cable designs, interface panels and custom chassis\nStrong understanding of digital components (e.g., flip flops, lookup tables, logic gates, shift registers, finite state machines, and memory hierarchies)\nAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environment\nActive and current Secret clearance required.
