When local workload is lighter, the Construction Manager will travel to project sites across the United States to support national construction and restoration initiatives, including disaster response and large-loss reconstruction.\r\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who can manage multiple projects at once while maintaining high standards for safety, schedule adherence, communication, and workmanship .\r\nKey Responsibilities Project Management & Field Oversight\r\nManage multiple commercial and multifamily construction projects from mobilization through closeout.\r\nOversee subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews to ensure scopes, schedules, and quality expectations are met.\r\nConduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and verify quality standards.\r\nCoordinate daily field operations, including trade scheduling, inspections, deliveries, and equipment needs.\r\nMaintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, photos, progress updates, and reports.\r\nSubcontractor Coordination\r\nSource, qualify, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors across all required trades.\r\nEnsure subcontractors meet insurance, licensing, safety, and contractual requirements.\r\nMonitor subcontractor performance and hold trades accountable for quality and schedule.\r\nIdentify and resolve conflicts between trades to keep projects moving efficiently.\r\nAssist with the preparation of bids, budgets, and scopes of work.\r\nPerform site walks and scope reviews to support accurate pricing and execution planning.\r\nCoordinate subcontractor pricing and evaluate proposals for completeness and value.\r\nHelp identify risks, constructability issues, and cost-saving opportunities during preconstruction.\r\nScheduling & Budget Control\r\nDevelop, update, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.\r\nCoordinate with company leadership on project budgets, job costing, and change management.\r\nTrack progress against schedule and budget, and proactively address delays or issues.\r\nSupport accurate forecasting and reporting on project status.\r\nQuality Control & Safety\r\nEnsure all work meets company standards, contract documents, and applicable building codes.\r\nEnforce jobsite safety practices and compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.\r\nConduct quality inspections and walkthroughs during construction and at substantial completion.\r\nManage punch lists and ensure all items are addressed prior to project closeout.\r\nNational Deployment\r\nTravel to project sites across the United States when local project volume is lower.\r\nProvide on-site leadership for disaster response , large-loss reconstruction , and commercial restoration projects.\r\nAdapt quickly to changing environments, scopes, and client needs in time-sensitive situations.\r\nQualifications Experience\r\n5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Superintendent.\r\nProven experience overseeing commercial, multifamily, or large residential construction projects.\r\nStrong background in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades in fast-paced environments.\r\nSkills\r\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay organized under pressure.\r\nStrong scheduling and planning skills, with the ability to sequence work effectively.\r\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.\r\nClear, professional communication skills with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound field decisions.\r\nTechnical\r\nFamiliarity with construction management software and digital field reporting tools.\r\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (or similar tools) for documentation, scheduling, and communication.\r\nExperience in restoration, mitigation, or disaster-related construction is strongly preferred but not required.\r\nRequirements Willingness and ability to travel nationally as project needs dictate.\r\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving
