Liquor Store Associate
Customer service: Greeting customers, helping them find items, and providing recommendations
Cashier: Operating the cash register, ringing up sales, and handling cash
Stocking: Keeping shelves stocked, rotating merchandise, and setting up displays, must be able to lift 50lb
Cleaning: Dusting shelves, sweeping floors, and cleaning windows, sweep parking lot
Inventory: Counting inventory, performing periodic stock counts, and recording noteworthy items
Opening and closing: Opening and closing the store, and activating the security system
Training: Attending alcohol awareness and other job-related training
Compliance: Observing state and local regulations regarding liquor sales
Special orders: Handling special orders, such as kegs, and having the appropriate equipment ready for customers
Liquor store clerks may also be responsible for:
Assisting with unloading deliveries
Filling cigarette packs and cartons
Completing sales reports
Notifying management of violations or concerns

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
