This hybrid role in Seattle, WA offers the opportunity to help launch and improve new initiatives, strengthen reporting and dashboards, and contribute to meaningful work across internal and external partners.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nSupport the coordination and execution of research-related programs and proposal processes\n\nWork with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather, organize, and share project information\n\nHelp manage workflows tied to payments, legal coordination, and program operations\n\nAssist with building and improving a new Salesforce-based CRM and related proposal management processes\n\nOrganize and clean data to support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development\n\nContribute to process improvements that make research programs more efficient and scalable\n\nPrepare documentation such as SOPs, user guides, and training materials\n\nSupport stakeholder meetings, requirements gathering, and user acceptance testing\n\nHelp coordinate research insights, outcomes, and internal/external outreach efforts\n\nSkills\n\nExperience managing or supporting Salesforce custom implementations in an administrative or project leadership capacity\n\nStrong understanding of Salesforce features such as custom objects, flows or automation, and dashboards\n\nBackground in data migration, data cleaning, and data quality management\n\nAbility to support reporting and metrics tracking using organized data\n\nExcellent communication and documentation skills\n\nComfort working across multiple teams and balancing technical tasks with stakeholder coordination\n\nAbility to gather requirements, facilitate meetings, and support UAT cycles\n\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities\n\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nSalesforce Administrator certification\n\nExperience working in program management, business analytics, information systems, or a similar environment\n\nFamiliarity with integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems\n\nExperience supporting research, academic, or grant-related programs\n\nAbility to create clear training resources and process documentation\n\nExperience using analytics to help influence dashboard design and reporting needs\n\nHorizontal is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds are valued.
