Employees want our customers to know that they can depend on us every time they do business with Orgill.\r\nPosition SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for the following warehouse activities, including but not limited to: receiving, fullcase orders, repack stock, and fullcase stock.\r\nEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive supplier shipments\r\nPick customer orders\r\nOperate forklifts or other equipment\r\nMaintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times\r\nOperate a handheld scanner\r\nObtaining power equipment certifications, electric power jack, walker/rider, and forklift\r\nMeet and exceed quality and production standards\r\nAbility to take direction from management\r\nAdheres to DC housekeeping guidelines\r\nEnsures Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times\r\nPerform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures\r\nPerforms all other tasks and duties as assigned\r\nRequirements and QualificationsHigh School diploma preferred\r\nKnowledge and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), or other platforms\r\nExcellent attendance record\r\nMust be willing and able to work overtime\r\nGood comprehension and organizational skills\r\nAbility to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management\r\nAbility to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem-solving skills\r\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines\r\nMust be a team player with a can-do attitude\r\nPower Equipment certification is a plus\r\nMust be able to read, write, and speak English\r\nPhysical RequirementsMust have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position\r\nAbility to lift up to 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and 75lbs rarely\r\nAbility to complete the physical assessment at the Material Handler II level\r\nOrgill, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE)\r\nDisclaimer: When duties and responsibilities change and develop, the job description will be reviewed and subject to changes based on business necessity.
