Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Job details: Position: Registered Nurse (RN)- Medical Surgical (Urgent Requirement) Facility: Hospital Location: Summit NJ Department: Medical Surgical On call: No Shifts available: Nights - 3*12hr shifts Description: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients. Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Minimum two (2) years Med/Surg experience in a large acute care hospital setting. The most recent experience should be within the past year. Physical assessment, Medication administration, Wound care & Infection control, IV therapy, Post-operative care, Patient education.
