The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and motivated, have a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a dynamic team.\nWhy Relocate to Petoskey/Traverse City with Centaris?\nWe pay your moving expenses to help you settle in comfortably.\nEnjoy the natural beauty, small-town charm, and outdoor lifestyle of Northern Michigan.\nJoin a company with 40+ years of experience, a strong reputation, and a supportive team culture.\nWork on a wide variety of technologies.\nAlthough this is a hybrid position, candidates must live within driving distance to our Petoskey, Michigan office as the position requires on site client visits.\nJob Details:\nResponsibilities:\nDesigns system configuration, determines hardware, software and functional specifications, and performs system installations.\nProvides advanced technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance.\nTroubleshoots malfunctions of client’s network hardware and software applications, resolves operational issues and documents network problems and resolutions\nMakes recommendations to clients regarding systems or procedural improvements\nReviews engineering deliverables and initiates appropriate corrective actions\nCollaborates with Sales to provide strategic direction to our clients\n\nRequirements:\n\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience:\nExperience preferred but not all necessary.\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Information Systems (or related degree/equivalent combination of work experience).\nProfessional IT certifications.\n7+ years of administrative support experience.\nTroubleshooting and resolving technical issues involving server applications such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, group policies, etc.\nTroubleshooting and resolving technical issues involving Microsoft’s core business applications (Exchange, SQL, etc.) and operating systems (servers and desktops) as well as line of business applications.\nKnowledge of remote access solutions including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.\nExperience with MS Azure, EntraID, M365, and O365.\nExperience with SharePoint and Teams.\nAdvanced technical support and the ability to troubleshoot at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, Layer 2/3 switching, routers, firewalls, and security.\nAdvanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.\nExperience with VMware up to version 8.0\nSkills:\nThe skills listed below are ideal.
