Thisrole serves as a key operational liaison between departments, supportingproduction flow, inventory accuracy, material movement, and process adherence.Success in this position requires strong leadership, communication,organizational skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\n\nCoordinate the movement of production components throughout the shop floor and across functional departments, providing status updates to production teams.\n\nAttend department meetings, manage action items, and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion.\n\nCollaborate with internal customers across Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Shipping & Receiving, and other departments as needed.\n\nSupport Operations Supervisors and Team Leads in prioritizing and reconciling component quantities and assemblies throughout the production process.\n\nManage Shipping and Receiving activities, including operation of barcode and labeling equipment.\n\nCoordinate with supervisors to expedite assemblies through manufacturing and shipping processes.\n\nServe as the Shop Floor Business Process Owner (BPO) for barcode and labeling systems, providing technical support as needed.\n\nEnsure material movement and transaction accuracy throughout manufacturing, including:\n\nMovement of stock items and components between the stockroom and production lines.\n\nAdherence to manufacturing transaction requirements within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES/SFM).\n\nCoordination of component flow between Foundry and Assembly departments.\n\nMaintenance of proper manufacturing order (MO) documentation and physical inventory accuracy.\n\nCreation and follow-up of MRBs and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).\n\nSupport and participate in cycle count activities and annual physical inventory processes.\n\nGenerate daily work progress reports and maintain accurate production transactions.\n\nReconcile Shop Floor Manager (SFM) and ERP system transactions, quantities, and locations.\n\nAct as a shop floor liaison to support Purchasing with material reviews and replenishment requirements.\n\nIdentify opportunities for inventory and material flow improvements utilizing methods such as Kanban and safety stock strategies.\n\nEnsure production schedules are maintained and that manufacturing personnel have visibility to all required components associated with active manufacturing orders.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation of process enhancements.\n\nPerform special projects, analyses, and other duties as assigned.\n\nOur Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Operations or related discipline preferred.\n\nPrevious manufacturing experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.\n\nStrong process discipline and data analysis capabilities.\n\nAbility to exercise sound judgment and sustain newly implemented processes.\n\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive improvements and support change initiatives.\n\nExcellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully across all levels of the organization.\n\nStrong organizational and detail-oriented skills.\n\nProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.\n\nExperience with ERP systems and labor/material transaction processing; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple priorities.\n\nOSHA 10 certification is preferred.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.\n\nPay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 hourly (2nd shift has a 15% shift differential)\n\nAt Durex Industries, we are not only an employer, but also an advocate for equal opportunity and inclusivity.
