If you love working on lifted rigs, aftermarket builds, and want a career with real earning potential, this is where you belong.Job SummaryAs an Aftermarket Parts Installation Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, specializing in the detailed installation and maintenance of aftermarket automotive components.ResponsibilitiesInstalls and works on suspensions, alignments, gears, mounting, and balancing wheels and tires following company and manufacturers' specifications and standardsInstalls accessories (bumpers, lights, winches, and more)Performs alignments on Hunter Hawkeye machinePerforms inspections of completed repairs and installations to ensure quality of repair and suitability of vehicle for return to service and maintains accurate recordsCommunicates professionally and clearly with both internal and external partiesNavigates computer systems for alignment machines, wheel balancers, and TPS tools (preferred) and to record work order information and access to other informationDemonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and development of professional skill setUnderstands and adheres to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rulesUses appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional protection as necessaryMaintains shop cleanliness and appearance to uphold a safe and secure work environmentWork with your team to provide excellent customer serviceQualificationsDemonstrated skills in mount and balance, bed covers, and general installation of Jeep and Truck accessoriesMust possess your own set of toolsMust possess a valid driver's license with no major violations within the past five (5) years and a minimum of five (5) years of driving experience. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background checkAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., and team lift up to 100 lbs.Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and work ordersMust be able to work scheduled store hours at specific locationPreferred Qualifications (Not Required)Proficiency in truck and Jeep minor suspension kits, brakes, general suspension repair, and intermediate installation of accessoriesDisplays expertise in IFS, straight axle suspension, alignments, and advanced installation of Jeep and Truck accessories, including wiring lighting accessories, winches, and power stepsDemonstrates skills in suspension types, electrical work, alignments, and welding. Proficient in replacing ball joints, steering racks, pitman and idler arms, tie-rod ends. Knowledgeable in ring and pinions, axle builds, and drive trainsASE CertificationsWork EnvironmentRetail store service departmentAutomotive garage with concrete floors, industrial structure, vehicle lifts, workbenches/workstations, stationary and moving vehicles and other automotive workshop facility machineryWork includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions including balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment.
