Fuel Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely delivering fuel supplies to various locations while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with different types of trucks, and a commitment to punctuality and safety. Duties Operate fuel delivery trucks, ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials Load and unload fuel supplies at designated sites using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure timely delivery of fuel to clients while maintaining accurate documentation of deliveries Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations Follow established safety procedures related to handling and transporting fuel and other freight Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes Experience Proven experience in truck driving, including commercial driving large vehicles Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is preferred Delivery driver experience involving load & unload operations and route driving preferred Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is advantageous Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for tanker or hazardous materials is required Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in transportation industry This role requires a dedicated professional committed to safe driving practices, punctual deliveries, and excellent customer service.
