{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"fd52d05d36f279c19cafad72","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fd52d05d36f279c19cafad72","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fd52d05d36f279c19cafad72","title":"Roller Operator","description":"Copper Bus Bar / Ehrt Operator Second shift position: Hours: Monday to Thursday 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.\r\nRequired\r\n3-5 years OTJ Machinist or General Fabrication experience.\r\nBackground in manufacture of precision metal products; Copper bus bar experience preferable.\r\nPosition requires high school diploma or equivalent.\r\nSkill set for Copper Bus Bar / Ehrt Operator:\r\nOperations of multi station Punch Machine / Copper Bar.\r\nAbility to create and edit programs / Fanuc, G code, etc.\r\nAbility to accurately read and interpret prints/drawings/specs.\r\nDeburring, drilling and tapping of materials.\r\nUnderstanding and execution of material inspection procedures.\r\nComputer experience.\r\nAbility to use handheld inspection equipment; Calipers Micrometers.\r\nUnderstanding and support all relevant Ometek, Inc. policies, procedures and work instructions.\r\nFamiliar with ISO standards.\r\nAdditional necessary job functions\r\nPhysical demands: Bending, Twisting, Standing, Stooping, Sitting, Walking, and Reaching overhead.\r\nLifting up to 50 lbs.\r\nAbility to prioritize job functions to meet demands of position in a busy job shop environment.\r\nAbility to work well independently, as well as within a team.\r\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\r\nForklift / Pallet jack experience.\r\nJob functions vary and are designed to support the whole of the Copper Bus Bar operations; as well as other duties as assigned per needs of business.\r\nCulture\r\nOmetek is an essential business.
