We will serve lattes and other coffee specialties, as well as manufacture donuts for retail and deliver them to our Temp-Stop locations daily. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working overnight cooking and icing donuts.\r\nPrimary Responsibilities\r\nWe're searching for individuals who want to make this a career and have a passion for creating baked goods. We understand these are hard times and strive to provide a safe workspace (we abide by CDC guidelines).\r\nThis position entails pastry prep, making dough, crafting garnishes, shaping dough, frying donuts, icing, and garnishing donuts. It also involves helping the general manager manage staff, operating the production when the general manager is off, and assisting with scheduling, ordering, etc.\r\nJob Duties\r\nPrepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.\r\nFollow recipes and presentation specifications.\r\nOperate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.\r\nClean and maintain station, practicing good safety and sanitation.\r\nAssist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.\r\nRestock items as needed throughout the shift.\r\nAdhere to all sanitation and food production codes.\r\nPay & Benefits\r\nPay frequency: bi-weekly. Starting pay: $16.00 an hour depending upon experience. If you have advanced management experience, starting pay can be higher.\r\nEarn an additional $0.50 per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).\r\nEarn a performance review in as little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.\r\nHealth insurance available within 90 days of your starting date.\r\nVacation pay, overtime pay over 40 hours, annual bonus based upon store profits, overtime pay for those that work the holidays.\r\nManager Responsibilities (if applicable)\r\nCleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)\r\nStocking shelves and coolers\r\nSweeping and mopping floors\r\nChecking product in as it is delivered from vendors\r\nCommunicate with associates and guests\r\nAvailable weekend, evening shifts and holidays\r\nMust have reliable transportation\r\nMust attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)\r\nPhysical requirements: frequent bending, reaching, lifting 1–15 lbs; be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion; reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist; freely access all areas of the store; move quickly around store.\r\nRequirements\r\nNo specific qualifications listed, but experience in pastry, food preparation, and kitchen operations is preferred.
