Project Manager Prefabricated Wall Systems

About the Role
Great Lakes Prefabrication (GLP) is a specialty subcontractor delivering prefabricated exterior wall systems using StoPanel technology. We support projects across a broad multistate service area extending coast to coast, with active reach from Florida through the Great Lakes region. We work with general contractors, developers, and owners to accelerate schedules, improve quality, and reduce on-site complexity.
We are seeking a Project Manager to own multiple projects from preconstruction through installation—bridging coordination between our fabrication shop, field installation teams, and clients.
This is a high-impact role with direct responsibility for schedule, financial performance, and client relationships.
What You’ll Do
• Manage projects from kickoff through closeout
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery, and installation sequencing
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Manage budgets, cost-to-complete, and change orders
• Interface with general contractors, architects, and consultants
• Periodic multi-state travel to job sites is required, but travel should be purposeful, 
efficient, and minimized through strong planning.
• Coordinate internal teams (shop, engineering, field crews)
• Resolve project issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and leadership
• Provide secondary support to the design assistance team, including shop drawing 
management activities, as needed.

Qualifications Required
• Commercial construction project management experience
• Strong scheduling and coordination capabilities• Experience managing budgets and project financials
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Effective communication with clients and field teams
• Willingness to travel periodically across multiple states as project needs require
Preferred (High Value)
• Prefabrication or panelized construction experience
• Building envelope systems (EIFS, panels, curtainwall)
• BIM coordination (Revit, Navisworks)
• Experience working across office + field operations
Compensation
We are hiring for this role at multiple levels depending on experience, project complexity 
managed, and ability to operate independently.
Project Manager II (Developing)
• $100,000 – $115,000 base salary
• Typically 3–6 years of experience
• Manages 1–2 projects with oversight
Project Manager III (Full Ownership)
• $115,000 – $125,000 base salary
• Typically 5–10 years of experience
• Independently manages multiple projects including financial performance
Senior Project Manager (Advanced)
• $125,000 – $130,000 base salary
• 8+ years of experience
• Leads complex projects and contributes to process improvement and operational 
efficiency
