The Junior Privacy Analyst will assist with information gathering, privacy documentation, assessment tracking, stakeholder coordination, research, and quality control.\nThis position is well suited for an early-career privacy, cybersecurity, GRC, RMF, information-systems, or federal compliance professional with strong research and writing skills.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with the maintenance of PTAs, PIAs, SORNs, and related privacy documentation.\nCapture and organize information concerning systems, business processes, data collection, data sharing, user access, retention, and security safeguards.\nResearch system documentation, policies, authorities, and existing privacy materials.\nReview documents for completeness, consistency, formatting, grammar, and internal quality standards.\nTrack assessments, action items, stakeholder responses, revisions, approvals, and deadlines.\nIdentify missing or conflicting information and elevate questions to senior analysts.\nAssist with status reports, metrics, inventories, and other program documentation.\nProtect sensitive information and follow applicable privacy and information-handling requirements.\n\nRequirements\n\nA High School Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in a professional setting.\nStrong organizational skills.\nAbility to understand and document technical and operational information.\nFamiliarity with personally identifiable information and responsible information handling.\nAbility to follow established templates, procedures, and quality-control standards.\nProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and related business applications.\nU.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy applicable federal background investigation, suitability, or security requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, information technology, public policy, legal studies, business, or a related field.
