Progressive Diagnostics is a Connecticut-based company headquartered in Trumbull and is one of the largest CLIA laboratories in New England. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player, efficient and enjoy providing excellent customer service.\nWe are looking for a team of individuals who to help a state wide testing initiative. Testing will be for patients from all ages.\nDaily Responsibilities This is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities, but rather a general description of the work performed by this position.\nTraveling to multiple testing sites per day based on pre determined schedule.\nRegistering patient information such as demographics, insurance and requisition forms.\nCollecting and preparing specimens for transport to the laboratory.\nBringing Specimens to the laboratory for processing.\nOrganizing and keeping inventory of supplies needed for sample collection.\nBringing Samples back to Laboratory for processing.\nEducation & Work Experience\nPhlebotomy Certification\n1-2 Years experience in Phlebotomy (preferred)\nExperience administering throat swab, nasal swab, or collecting patient samples is preferred.\n3-5 years of work experience in a professional setting is strongly preferred.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nData entry and specimen collecting preferred.\nSpecial Requirements\nTo perform well in this position, an individual must be a team-player who is respectful of others and believes in collaborative work environment.\nThe position does require a unique skill set of being able to prioritize multiple tasks at hand and maintain efficiency while multitasking.\nTesting will be performed for patients of all ages\nJob Type: Part-time to Full-time up to hours depending on testing demand.\nPlease note that at least 2 references and both a DCF and Criminal background check are required. You may also be asked to submit a drug test.
