This role is ideal for a senior or lead-level developer who can work across both frontend and backend development, with a stronger focus on backend architecture, data processing, application security, and production reliability.\nYou will work with technologies including React, NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, OIDC-based security, queueing systems, and deployment/containerization tools to build scalable applications that support complex business and operational needs.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications using React and NestJS.\nBuild backend services, APIs, and application logic that support data processing and computing workloads.\nWork with MongoDB, Redis, OIDC-based security, and queueing systems as part of the application architecture.\nParticipate in technical discussions and help define practical solutions with the development team.\nTroubleshoot production issues and support applications across frontend, backend, database, and deployment layers.\nTake ownership of assigned features and issues from development through production support.\nCollaborate with technical leads, developers, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable technical solutions.\nContribute to system quality, performance, scalability, maintainability, and operational reliability.\nWhat You Bring:\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong experience building full stack applications with React and NestJS\nStrong backend development skills, especially with APIs, services, data processing, and computing workloads.\nHands-on experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.\nExperience with Redis or similar caching technologies.\nExperience with authentication and authorization concepts, including OpenID Connect (OIDC) or similar protocols.\nExperience with queueing systems, asynchronous processing, or event-driven backend workflows.\nExperience deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting applications in production environments.\nAbility to take ownership, propose solutions, and follow through without needing constant direction.\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate in technical and architectural discussions.\nProactive mindset with willingness to learn, adapt, and jump in when issues arise.\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):\nExperience in a senior or lead developer role.\nExperience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or other deployment/containerization tools.\nExperience supporting data-intensive or backend-heavy enterprise applications.\nExperience improving application performance, scalability, reliability, or maintainability.\nExperience working in Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial, or enterprise technology environments.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExperience supporting business-critical applications in production.\nWhat You’ll Gain:\nFull-time position in a quickly growing company.\nCompetitive salary with regular reviews.\n401(k) Retirement Plan and comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.\nPaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.\nIn-house IT training and certifications through WebCreek University.\nFlexible work environment within a diverse, international team.\nWellness programs and exclusive “workcation” opportunities for top performers.\nLocation: On-site in Houston, TX.
