The Technical Manager provides technical oversight for network infrastructure operations, modernization, and performance improvements across the CBP enterprise.\r\nDuties & Responsibilities\r\nLead Tier 2 technical teams supporting enterprise network infrastructure.\r\nManage performance optimization, tool integration, and architecture enhancement.\r\nOversee software updates, patch management, and release documentation.\r\nServe as the primary technical advisor to the Program Manager.\r\nReview system logs, analyze trends, and recommend technical solutions.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering.\r\n6+ years in senior-level network engineering or architecture.\r\nCCNP or equivalent certification.\r\nProven leadership and troubleshooting expertise.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nCCIE and ITIL v3 certifications.\r\nDHS or Federal enterprise experience.\r\nPlace of Performance\r\nSpringfield and Ashburn, VA (with possible travel to Orlando, FL, and other CBP facilities).\r\nClearance\r\nMust have favorably passed a full five (5) year background investigation (BI) required by CBP policies and procedures for employment prior to beginning work with CBP.\r\nComputer World Services is an affirmative action and equal employment opportunity employer.
