This role involves setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, working with precision tools, and ensuring high-quality production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes according to specificationsPlan, construct, modify, and repair a wide variety of fixtures and toolingWork from existing CNC programs, blueprints, work orders, equipment manuals, and instructionsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to coordinate machining operationsSet up machines using hand tools, adjust controls, and input program instructions for optimal performanceInstall, align, and indicate tooling; make program edits and adjustments as neededRun test samples and monitor machine performance, making adjustments to maintain efficiency and qualityInspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with tolerancesPerform secondary operations such as grinding, milling, EDM, and honing as requiredMaintain and properly store precision measuring and testing equipmentClean and lubricate machinery using proper procedures and materialsComplete required documentation including parts requisitions, tool requests, and production recordFollow all quality standards, safety procedures, and company policiesPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsExperience setting up and operating CNC Mills and/or LathesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsStrong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materialsExperience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustmentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and in a team environment\\nCompany DescriptionAbout Chase Technical:CHASE Staffing, formerly CHASE Professionals, is a US-based staffing firm with 20 branch locations and over 10,000 jobs filled in 2021.
