In this role, you will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient comfort and collaborating closely with physicians to support accurate diagnoses.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, producing high-quality images for physician interpretation.Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients, helping to create a calm and supportive environment.Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.Apply ultrasound gel and position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results.Assess image quality in real time and adjust techniques to ensure diagnostic accuracy.Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff by providing images and relevant observations.Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including procedure details and clinical notesQualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.Current certification (e.g., ARDMS) preferred or required based on facility standards.Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift or assist patients weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive scanning motions.Comfortable bending, reaching, and repositioning patients as needed.Ability to operate and move imaging equipment in a clinical setting.Mission & Vision & Values:Improve the health and wellness of the community by delivering compassionate, quality care.Be a trusted, nationally-recognized leader of innovative, collaborative, community health.A.S.P.I.R.E - Always serve with professionalism, integrity, respect, and excellence.EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer)
