We place high value on training and professional development, encouraging you to broaden and strengthen your unique skill sets so you can fully realize your potential.\n\nJob Description\nPerformance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Boise 548 operations based in Boise, ID.\nJob responsibilities include:\nPerform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance\nPrepare RFI’s and submittals\nQuantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders\nCreate and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen\nCreate and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation\nSupport the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program\nAssist in other duties as assigned\nThis position is safety-sensitive.\nBasic Requirements\nMust have at least 2 years’ experience supporting or managing construction projects\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)\nPossess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\nAbility to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they're learned\nStrong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities\nAbility to prioritize and multitask while handling multiple projects concurrently\nMotivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative\nWorks well under pressure and deadlines\nPossess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline\nExperience managing specialty scopes of construction\nOSHA certification\nLocal to Boise, ID area preferred\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\nBenefits\n\nAt Performance Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
