Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for an AI Engineer to create practical, high-impact solutions that improve how teams work across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex business needs into scalable AI applications and automation tools. You will have the opportunity to own projects from early discovery through deployment while working closely with partners across multiple functions to deliver measurable results. This role is hybrid, onsite in Newton, MA 2-3 days a week.Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, from identifying opportunities and defining scope to launching production-ready solutions and refining performance over time.Collaborate with teams across leasing, finance, operations, development, legal, and other business areas to uncover process gaps and convert them into effective AI-driven improvements.Architect and implement agent-based workflow solutions that include orchestration, system integrations, retrieval methods, safety controls, and human review steps where needed.Build internal AI applications that enable business users to work more efficiently and adopt new capabilities in their daily processes.Establish evaluation methods and monitoring practices to track output quality, responsiveness, reliability, and cost efficiency in live environments.Support responsible AI adoption by helping shape governance standards, usage safeguards, and best practices for working with proprietary data.Present technical concepts and solution outcomes in a clear way so both technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand and trust the systems being delivered.Create repeatable frameworks, templates, and shared components that help teams experiment safely and expand AI usage across the company.Requirements:At least 3 years of experience building and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in a business environment.Hands-on expertise with TensorFlow and other machine learning development approaches for production use cases.Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, including retrieval-augmented generation and agentic AI systems.Experience designing workflow automation solutions that integrate with business processes and internal tools.Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured technical solutions with clear success measures.Familiarity with evaluation, observability, and monitoring practices for AI applications in production.Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.Experience developing reliable solutions that balance performance, scalability, and responsible AI use.
