Our team gives back year-round supporting House of Ruth Maryland, STEM mentorship of the next generation, and veteran efforts.\nKCW Engineering Technologies, Inc. is recruiting for a Project Engineer with experience in water resource and stormwater management engineering who is able to utilize their strong design skills to create plans and exhibits in support of residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional site/land development projects. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will work as part of a team to usher a plan from concept to final, process the project from planning to permitting and construction, through the various jurisdictional agencies in the Baltimore metropolitan region. The ideal candidate will be comfortable acting with self-initiative and dedication while integrated in the development team to provide input and accept direction in creating an engineering plan that meets our clients' needs while respecting the regulatory constraints.\nResponsibilities:\nSite layout and design.\nUtility design, including storm drain, water and sewer. Knowledge of conduit and dry utility systems.\nSite grading to include ADA compliance.\nStormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control.\nWork closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs.\nDevelop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications.\nExecute project based on outlined criteria.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nA minimum of 5years of civil engineering experience related to storm water management and stormwater design plans.\nExperience with AutoCAD.\nWorking knowledge of accepted industry software.\nStrong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills.\nPreferred Experience:\nMicroStation\nCivil 3D\nEducation:\nBachelors degree in civil engineering.\nCompensation:\n$35.00-$50.00/hour (equal to $72,800-$104,000 annually)\nPosition eligible for overtime\nPosition eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company\nBenefits:\nCompany-paid Mental Health program\n401(k) with match\nHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance\n$25,000 Company paid Life insurance\nSupplemental Life and Disability insurance\nPaid time off\nPaid Parental Leave\nProfessional Development Assistance\nReferral program\nTuition reimbursement\nKCW Engineering Technologies, Inc.\nKCW Engineering is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
