The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for our clients to promote well-being and community connection. Key responsibilities include organizing group events, managing activity schedules, developing individualized recreation plans. The Activities Director will also collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure activities align with therapeutic goals.QualificationsStrong Communication and group leadership skills to effectively engage with clients and staffExperience in Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation to create meaningful and beneficial activitiesA demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamBachelor’s degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Social Work, or a related fieldExperience working in a mental health or community service setting is a plus
