Snake Expo Assistant / Salesperson

Hi there! I breed hognose snakes and travel all over the country vending reptile expos. If you don't know what a hognose snake is, then this is probably not the job for you. If you love reptiles and hognose snakes in particular, then read on! We will be vending the Show Me Snakes Reptile Expo in Boise on October 19-20 and we're looking for assistants to help customers handle snakes and potentially assist with sales. I'm looking for people who are friendly and enjoy meeting new people because you'll be talking about snakes all day long! You will need to know basic hognose snake husbandry and be familiar with some of the genetic morphs, but a lot of that can be learned over time. If everything goes well then you can become part of our team and fly all over the country doing expos every weekend, meeting awesome reptile breeders and seeing the coolest species! We're hiring for two levels: 1. Assistant: your job is to help folks hold snakes and educate them on the basics of care. Pay is a flat $100 for the weekend. 2. Sales: you'll be helping customers find the perfect morph for their breeding project, or just find the Hoggie with the right amount of sass for their new family. Pay is $200 base + 10% commission.
