Join us in powering a future resonating with Central Moloney's strength.Position Summary: The Process Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring manufacturing processes, workmanship standards, and product quality throughout the facility to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering requirements, internal procedures, and quality expectations.This role conducts routine production floor walkthroughs, identifies process deviations and quality concerns, documents findings, and communicates issues to production and quality leadership to help prevent larger manufacturing or customer-related quality issues. The Process Control Inspector serves as a proactive quality presence within the facility and supports continuous improvement across all departments.ResponsibilitiesConduct routine walkthroughs and audits throughout manufacturing departments to monitor workmanship, process adherence, and product qualityIdentify and document process deviations, workmanship concerns, and non-conforming conditions involving weld quality, paint coverage, assembly practices, labeling, and finished productsInspect transformers, transformer components, and assemblies to verify compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and internal quality standardsCreate and distribute inspection reports, including written findings and photographic documentation of quality concernsCommunicate quality findings, recurring issues, and process concerns to production supervisors and Quality leadershipSupport proactive resolution of manufacturing and quality issues before escalation into major production or customer concernsVerify compliance with established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and ISO quality standardsUtilize measuring tools and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures as neededMaintain accurate inspection records and audit documentationPromote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the facilityPerform additional duties as assignedRequirementsEducation and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrevious manufacturing quality inspection, process auditing, or quality control experience preferredExperience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferredTransformer manufacturing experience preferredPhysical Demands:Ability to stand and walk throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods of timeFrequent bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and visual inspection of products and processesAbility to use measuring devices, inspection tools, cameras, and computer equipmentAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassistedAbility to work in varying manufacturing conditions including heat, noise, dust, and around moving equipmentWorking Conditions:Manufacturing plant environment with frequent exposure to production equipment, welding operations, paint areas, and industrial noiseRequired use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areasOvertime and weekend work may be required based on business needsShift schedules are subject to change based on operational requirementsBenefitsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401(k)Please Note & Review the Following:This position is considered safety-sensitive because impairment by drugs or alcohol may constitute a threat to health or safety, and/or a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death.Central Moloney is a tobacco-free facility.
