This role acts as a central Government point of contact and exercises command and control authority over contractor security personnel. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nOversee the execution of all security-related tasks and contract requirements\nSupport the Facility Manager and Facility Security Officer in day-to-day security operations\nExercise decision-making authority over contract performance and security operations\nMaintain command and control authority over contractor personnel performing security guard duties\nCoordinate and supervise security specialists performing access control, monitoring, and inspection duties\nEnsure compliance with all security protocols and procedures for protected areas\nRespond to security incidents and emergencies as they arise\nProvide oversight of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) operations and monitoring\nManage personnel scheduling and ensure adequate coverage of all security posts\nConduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to security personnel\nServe as on-call manager for 24-hour security operations as required\nCoordinate with government stakeholders on security matters\nEnsure all security documentation and reporting requirements are met\nSupport training and professional development of security team members\nWhat You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in military and/or civilian security guard operations and management\nDemonstrated experience in supervisory or leadership roles within security operations\nSecret Security Clearance\nStrong leadership and personnel management capabilities with proven ability to exercise command and control authority\nExcellent decision-making skills with ability to make critical judgments regarding security operations and contract performance\nComprehensive knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices\nExperience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) operations and monitoring\nAbility to work flexible hours and be available on-call 24 hours as operational needs require\nStrong communication skills with ability to interface effectively with government officials, facility management, and security personnel\nProficiency in coordinating multiple security operations and personnel simultaneously\nKnowledge of access control procedures and protected area security requirements\nAbility to respond effectively to security incidents and emergency situations\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nProficiency with security-related documentation and reporting requirements\nAbility to train, mentor, and develop security team members\nPhysical ability to perform security duties including walking, standing for extended periods, and responding to emergencies\n\nIdeally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):\nBachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field\nMilitary security operations experience\nExperience working in government facility security environments\nBilingual proficiency in English and Korean\nFor ESL speakers: TOEIC Listening and Reading score of 275 or greater and TOEIC Speaking and Writing Score of 120 (overall B1 level)\nFor Korean as second language: TOPIK Level 3 or higher\nExperience with Personnel Security Investigation (PSI) programs\nKnowledge of Department of Defense security regulations and requirements\nFamiliarity with Physical Security Standards and regulations\nExperience with security badge and credential management systems\nKnowledge of CCTV and alarm system operations\nExperience in government contracting environments\nProfessional security certifications (CPP, PSP, or similar)\nWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
