This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.\n\nTransdev is proud to offer:\n\nCompetitive compensation package of minimum $30.00 - Maximum $33.00\nKey Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot dieselengine issues.\nPerform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel engine components, ensuring optimal functionality.\nAssist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.\nExecute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.\nLead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel engines.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge\nOther duties as required.\nQualifications: 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.\nASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided\nMechanic's Tool Set\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.\nPhysical Requirements: Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\nThe employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.\nWork environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
