This role involves maintaining organized work areas, inspecting items for quality and coordination with other departments to ensure smooth overall warehouse operations.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nOrder fulfillment: Pick, pack and prepare outing shipments specific to each customer order- ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.\nShipping coordination: Process shipping labels, documents while prepping products in staging areas for transportation or pickups.\nInspection: Check incoming goods for defects, damages, or discrepancies, and report issues to the supervisor or purchasing department.\nInventory Management: Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.\nDocumentation: Complete receiving logs, file necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records for inventory tracking.\nEquipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.\nCoordination: Collaborate and assist with receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control operations to ensure smooth workflow and accurate stock levels.\nStock Organization: Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean and free from hazards.\nReturns: Process returned items or defective goods, coordinating with vendors or suppliers for replacements or credits.\nOther responsibilities may be assigned.\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nProficiency in using receiving software and systems.\nAbility to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.\nFamiliarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus.\nCertifications: Forklift certification is an advantage but not required\n\nWeekly schedule: 6:00pm - 3:00am (Sunday-Thursday)\nStarting hourly rate: $20.00/HR + $1.00/hour shift differential pay\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nSonepar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
