You should be prepared to manage your projects comprehensively from start to finish without relying on extensive support systems.\nCandidates must demonstrate the leadership necessary to drive features to completion and the analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues with efficient, high-quality solutions.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCollaborate with Hardware Engineers, Firmware Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to design, develop, integrate, and test new features: collecting requirements, understanding HW/SW interactions, producing design documents and test plans, and writing software\nProvide platform software expertise to application developers to enable the development of a stable, high-performance product\nWork in the lab to validate functionality, reproduce and debug issues, set up and automate tests, and provide software support\nDive into unfamiliar component datasheets, work with product reference boards and supplier FAEs to investigate, debug, and solve problems, and use information learned to guide design improvements\nWork with manufacturing and operations to provide software support for the qualification of alternate parts, BOM updates, and pre-provisioning of components\nWhat You'll Need:\nBS in Computer Science/Engineering, MS preferred, or equivalent industry experience\nExpert knowledge of Linux/RTOS platform development in modern multi-core ARM processor-based embedded systems\n9+ years of C/C++ embedded systems development experience\nTechnical leadership skills and a demonstrated history of owning large features from conception to delivery\nAbility to write scripts and automate tasks with Python and Bash\nHands-on experience with cross-compilation toolchains targeting embedded Linux systems\nComfortable working in an electronic lab environment, probing hardware, and experience with common lab equipment such as JTAG debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal analyzers\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nExperience reading schematics and datasheets\nAttention to detail\nWhat Would Make You Stand Out\nExperience in embedded software development for carrier and/or enterprise products in telecommunications.
