{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"fcd3059839fc188fcd4219f4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fcd3059839fc188fcd4219f4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/fcd3059839fc188fcd4219f4","title":"Paramedic Basic","description":"Job Description:\nParamedic (Full Time)\nNorthern/Central Riverside County Cities\nLocations: Riverside, Moreno Valley, Corona\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\nThe mission and purpose this position is to compassionately deliver high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced patient care in a professional, caring and cost-effective manner.\n\nParamedic Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssess each call situation to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol.\nUtilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, intravenous fluids, CPR and other procedures and medications as required to provide advanced medical care.\nDevelop and utilize triage skills to provide optimal efficiency during calls.\nParamedic will provide patient care according to clinical protocols and safety requirements.\nLift and move patients as required to provide optimum care.\nCommunicate with receiving facility to receive medical direction and to provide critical information.\nOther duties as defined by the formal job description\n\nParamedic Minimum Qualifications:\nEducation/Licensing/Certification:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)\nCA Drivers’ License\nAmbulance Driver’s License (from DMV)\nMedical Examiner’s Card or DL51 (from DMV)\nState of California Paramedic License\nCPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are not acceptable)\nACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY, hand written cards are not acceptable)\nPALS (American Heart Association ONLY, hand written cards are not acceptable) OR PEPP (only required for Riverside & Ventura Co. applicants)\nDriving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy (proof required if conditional employment is made)\nICS courses, please refer to link http://training.fema.gov/IS/NIMS.asp.\nIS-100B (ICS 100)\nIS-200B (ICS 200)\nIS-700A (NIMS)\nIS-800B (NIMS)\nExperience:\nSome past work experience, preferably in healthcare desired.\n\nWhy Choose AMR?
