Their duties include working with other Baristas to help take orders, make drinks, and provide timely service to customers.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nEnsures the Ziggi's \"Standards of Service\" are always in place -exceptional customer service, excellent drink/food quality, accuracy, consistency, and speed of service.\r\nMaintains great and consistent communication with staff and managers.\r\nAdheres to all Ziggi's Coffee policies and procedures.\r\nGreets customers in a friendly manner and takes food and drink orders.\r\nPrepares and serves beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones.\r\nPrepares and serves food items such as burritos, sandwiches and various pastries.\r\nPromotes and recommends menu options to customers.\r\nTakes payment from customers.\r\nMaintains inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs.\r\nKeeps the work environment sanitary and organized.\r\nEvaluates and modifies processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.\r\nAny other duties, as assigned.\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\r\nHave prior coffee experience (preferred, but not required)\r\nAbility to listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.\r\nAbility to focus on customer satisfaction.\r\nAbility to practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages.\r\nAbility to be efficient and organized.\r\nAbility to build good relationships with customers.\r\nAbility to maintain a clean work environment.\r\nAbility to keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime.\r\nAbility to be enthusiastic and outgoing with a passion for service.\r\nAbility to gauge customers' preferences.\r\nAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.\r\nAbility to apply appropriate decision-making within scope of work procedures.\r\nAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.\r\nFlexibility in hours worked, including weekends and holidays.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nThe employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach and lift with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to frequently lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
