The role will initially be based in Savannah, Georgia, supporting current operations, with an expected future relocation to San Antonio, Texas aligned to business growth and expansion.\r\nThe Controller partners closely with Sales, Commercial, and Executive Leadership teams to drive informed decision-making, financial discipline, and sustainable growth.\r\nPosition Type\r\nFull Time, Exempt\r\nBenefits\r\nJCB offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off and paid holidays.\r\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities\r\nPrepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, with a focus on revenue, margins, and sales performance\r\nPartner with Sales leadership to provide financial insights on pricing, discount strategies, incentives, and contract negotiations\r\nDeliver detailed sales and profitability analysis by product line, region, and customer segment\r\nOversee accounting functions, including accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and credit risk management\r\nDevelop and monitor key financial and commercial KPIs (e.g., revenue growth, margin performance, DSO)\r\nAnalyze actual results versus budget/forecast and provide clear variance commentary with actionable recommendations\r\nSupport commercial strategy and growth initiatives, including market expansion and channel performance\r\nAssess financial and commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies\r\nEstablish and maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures\r\nLead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives\r\nPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Leadership to drive profitability and cost discipline\r\nManage, develop, and retain finance team members\r\nLiaise with external auditors and tax advisors to meet US and Group reporting requirements\r\nPresent financial results and insights to senior leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner\r\nOther Duties as Assigned\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business\r\nMinimum of seven (7) years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or commercial finance\r\nExperience supporting sales, revenue management, or business-facing finance functions\r\nMust meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nCPA or equivalent professional qualificationExperience in a commercial, distribution, or sales-driven environment\r\nPrior leadership experience (3–4+ years managing teams)\r\nStrong experience in pricing, profitability analysis, and revenue forecasting\r\nExposure to public accounting or external audit\r\nStrong financial analysis skills with the ability to translate data into commercial insight\r\nAdvanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred\r\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders, particularly Sales leadership\r\nStrong business partnering mindset and proactive, solutions-oriented approach\r\nEffective organizational and time management skills\r\nAbility to develop and mentor team members\r\nKnowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial controls\r\nJob Conditions\r\nBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.\r\nSubject to noise and temperature changes.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
